The mission of the Gasper Township Fire and EMS Department is to protect lives, property, and the environment through a commitment to excellence in emergency response, public safety education, and community service. We strive to serve our residents and visitors with integrity, professionalism, and compassion, ensuring a safe and prepared community through dedicated training, teamwork, and leadership.
Gasper Township Fire & EMS is a part time/volunteer department established in 2003. We staff two cross trained Fire & EMS personnel 24/7, 365 days a year with a volunteer fire response. Our agency responds to over 500 calls for service annually. Proudly serving the residents and visitors of Lakengren, Gasper Township and Dixon Township with professionalism, and a strong sense of community. At the heart of Gasper Township Fire & EMS is our mission to safeguard life, property and the environment through prompt, effective response and ongoing community engagement.
